Case 1 — From family-run to managerial, in food manufacturing

• Sector: food manufacturing
• Period: since 2015, engagement ongoing
• Starting point: a family structure grown on volume, with no management indicators and no formal delegation.
• Work done: Lean transformation of production and logistics flows; management-by-objectives system with indicators assigned to each manager; introduction of CRM and launch of the e-commerce channel; custom tools for stock management and dynamic pricing; regulatory framework to BRC, FoodChain ID and ISO 9001 standards.

Case 2 — An accredited inspection body built from scratch

• Sector: technical services for oil & gas
• Period: since 2009, engagement ongoing
• Starting point: a services company aiming to move up the value chain by becoming a recognised technical body.
• Work done: construction from scratch of the management system and the inspection body; UNI EN ISO 17020 accreditation with Accredia; development of the calibration algorithm and of the operations software.
• Result: accreditation obtained and maintained over time. The company now operates as a recognised inspection body.

Case 3 — From craft to industrial, with a generational handover under way

• Sector: electronic board manufacturing
• Period: 2015-2025
• Starting point: a step change in size and a change of generation at the top, occurring at the same time.
• Work done: reorganisation of the company along process lines; industrial structuring of production; coaching of the incoming generation into leadership.
• Result: transition completed; the company now operates with industrial structure and processes.

Case 4 — Process-based organisation in precision metalwork

• Sector: stainless steel flanges and fittings
• Period: 2011-2019
• Work done: reorganisation along process lines; construction of the technical database of drawings and product specifications; introduction of a set of process indicators.

Case 5 — A testing laboratory towards ministerial recognition

• Sector: testing and calibration laboratory for the construction industry
• Period: 2008-2015
• Work done: accreditation as a Notified Body under the Construction Products Directive with the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure; responsibility for the FPC assessment group for CE marking.
• Result: recognition obtained.

Case 6 — An innovative start-up in legal metrology

• Sector: legal metrology, regulated under Italian Ministerial Decree 93/2017
• Period: since 2025, ongoing
• Role: Senior Advisor
• Work done: conception and construction of a RegTech venture from a blank page: business model, service architecture, regulatory framework, and securing public funding from Invitalia and the Veneto Region.
• Note: project under confidentiality.
